If you’re not confident about filling your international retreats, then this 10K Retreat Profit Blueprint can help you get clarity and start testing to see what works in your market.

I have personally run over 100 multi-day retreats and hiking adventures and developed this retreat business model through a lot of trial-and-error testing.

Now, thanks to the AI, it’s easy to do the foundational market research, data analysis and client-offer validation so you don’t waste months of your time on a retreat offer and business model that isn’t profitable.

Many retreat leaders I speak with have burned out on running retreats because they don’t have a consistent sales funnel process to fill their retreats, they constantly post on social media to crickets and they end up feeling aren’t being compensated enough for the huge time commitment (despite loving hosting the retreats).

If you want to build a retreat business where you can consistently host sold out highly profitable retreats, then you need to learn a few digital skills in doing market research, crafting a transformational offer and building a sales funnel so you can run scalable ads (or hire someone to run ads for you).

The Key To Retreat Profitability

The key to profitability is to follow a simple sales funnel system so you can measure your results, continuously test and improve your process and leverage Meta and Google’s ad algorithms to optimize your ad targeting based on sales-driven conversions.

Here’s the profitable business model I follow to sell my transformational retreats without much posting on social media, simply by running a simple ad funnel that books discovery calls for around $150.

Depending on the strength of your offer, your understanding of what your ideal prospects need and how good you are at doing sales calls, you can expect to close between 20-40% of discovery calls with a 2-part close model.

A 2-part close model involves a no-pressure discovery call and a slightly longer sales call if both of you think they are a good fit for the retreat.

The Money Math Behind Sold Out Retreats

If you offer and market research are dialled in and you create a sales funnel for your ads, you can expect to book roughly 10 sales calls for $1500 on ads (can vary slightly based on your niche).

Realistically, if you are ads are targeted properly and your sales funnel speaks directly to the transformation you offer and your ideal clients need, you can expect to close between 2 and 4 retreat participants from 10 sales calls at a cost per sale between $300 and $600 per participant.

However, this requires basing your offer, pricing and sales funnel based on data analysis from market research.

Fortunately, as you’ll see in this mini-course, AI makes this easy so you can focus on the human elements that AI can’t replicate.

The initial part of the 10K Retreat Profits Blueprint will help you plan out a profitable business model so you can sell out your retreats with confidence and without burnout.

An Overview Of The 10K Retreat Profits Business Model:

Here’s the model to follow in order to sell out your retreats in a nutshell:

1. $10K in advertising spending:

Get 10-15 participants for an international retreat on autopilot with a sales funnel and ads so you can focus on what AI can’t replicate: conversations, community and connection.

Rather than posting and hoping to get reach on Facebook Groups, TikTok or Instagram, you can leverage Meta Ads and Google Ads’ incredible ability to reach your target potential clients at scale.

2. 10K in retreat logistics costs

When you host group retreats, you can get significant discounts on ecolodges, retreat centers and tour guides, so you can create incredible value for your participants in addition to the unique group experience.

Aim to create an all-inclusive retreat experience with accommodations, food and activities for $1000/participant.

3. 10K in profits for your time

Let’s face it, it takes at least 100 hours of planning, marketing and facilitating to host a weeklong retreat.

At 10K profit, you’re only making $100/hour for your time, plus if you’re like me, you’ll probably need a few extra days after a retreat to relax and recharge before you play catch-up on all your emails and administration in your business.

Build Your Sales Funnel In A Weekend:

Selling your retreats doesn’t have to be difficult.

You need to follow a proven system to do the proper market research, craft a transformational offer and test with content, emails and ads to validate your offer and sales process.

If you want to plan out this business model so you can regularly run profitable retreats that make 10K and don’t burn you out, I recommend starting with the minimum viable test to clarify whether people will book discovery calls from your offer.
